New Favorite Channel: HGTV!

I discovered - only 1 week ago - that the Jigs and I get HGTV as part of our basic cable package. Channel 67, dudes. Ever since, it's been ALL HGTV ALL THE TIME! Among the highlights of my new channel love is the design taste quiz from Get it Together!

Jigs and I knew we were compatible in many ways (including those ways NOT screened by eHarmony), but we had no idea we have the same design sensibilities. Indeed. "Rustic" it is. For both of us. Though I'm beginning to wonder if everyone tests as "Rustic". Let me know your outcome.

Unfortch, we haven't had a lot of opportunity to let our design senses shine, given the crazy-arse housing costs in the bay area. Mayhaps we'll benefit from all the folks defaulting on loans. Will it mean more availability of reasonably-priced (i.e. - will only take 70 years to pay off) real estate?
