Daily Lesson: Vol. 1 Issue 5

When you like a boss, and she respects you and your work, you never know what will come of it. One day she might say, "What would you think about taking this entire project to Uganda?" She may be thinking big, but the way she works, there's probably more than an ounce of truth to her ideas.

You've always struck me as Ugandan, J.Po - I think it's your posture.

Sophist - this is more of a "what about a future grant project" kind of comment that came out of an interesting NYT article that relates to our current work and the horrible situation in Uganda relating to that work. We have some strong strong contacts with folks who already have a study going on there, so it's not totally impossible that this could happen.

J.Bro - Perhaps the Ugandans and Slovenes have some genetic connection I'm not aware of. I'll look into it.

That would be (unfortunately) a great place for your work. Plus, hippos! Chimpanzees! Gorillas! Go get that funding! :)
